Thanh Ha Pottery Village is located in Hoi An Tay Ward (formerly Thanh Ha Ward), Da Nang City, nestled along the romantic Thu Bon River, about 3 km west of Hoi An Ancient Town. This craft village was established in the 16th century, closely associated with the Thu Bon River—the source of high-quality clay for pottery making. Today, Thanh Ha Pottery Village is not only a production site for handcrafted goods but also a prominent cultural tourism destination, with Thanh Ha Terracotta Park at its center. This place preserves traditional values while integrating modern elements to conserve and promote ancient pottery crafts. The craft village was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2019, contributing to the sustainable tourism development of Hoi An.
