Located in Northern Vietnam, Ninh Binh boasts a typical humid tropical monsoon climate, resulting in distinct seasonal variations throughout the year. This not only influences the landscape but also determines the ideal time for travelers to explore this heritage land.
Specifically, the climate here is divided into two main seasons: the dry season from November to April of the following year, featuring cool, low-rainfall weather that feels pleasant; while the rainy season from May to October brings higher temperatures, high humidity, and significantly increased rainfall, especially between June and September.
The average annual temperature ranges around 23–24°C, with January being the coldest month (~16.6°C) and June the hottest (~29.4°C). Although rainfall is concentrated in summer and autumn, Ninh Binh is less directly affected by storms compared to coastal provinces, making overall weather conditions relatively stable.
