Detailed itinerary
Morning: Welcome guests in Da Nang (Airport, Train Station, or central meeting point) from 07:00 to 12:00 (After this time, guests must join the group on their own or book a private transfer). The vehicle takes you to enjoy Da Nang's famous local specialties: "Banh trang thit heo 2 dau da" (Pork belly rice paper rolls with two fatty ends) and "My Quang" (Quang-style noodles). Check into a 3-star hotel to rest.
Afternoon: Begin the sightseeing tour:- Son Tra Peninsula for a panoramic view of the coastal city of Da Nang from above, visiting Linh Ung Pagoda – home to the tallest 67-meter Goddess of Mercy statue in Vietnam.
- Da Nang Wonders Park, featuring miniature models of 9 famous world wonders and Vietnamese landmarks.
- My Khê Beach in Da Nang – voted by Forbes magazine as one of the most attractive beaches on the planet in 2006.
Evening: Dinner at a restaurant. Enjoy leisure time on a Han River cruise to admire Da Nang by night, take photos of the Han River Swing Bridge and the Dragon Bridge breathing fire and water on weekends. Overnight stay in Da Nang City.
Morning: Breakfast. The driver and tour guide pick you up to start sightseeing and check-in at the following spots:
- Apec Sculpture Park in Da Nang – a landmark representing the international integration spirit and aspirations of the people of Da Nang.
- Stroll past the Dragon Bridge, capture memorable moments at the Love Bridge, and enjoy the fresh air along the banks of the Han River featuring the Carp-Turning-into-Dragon Statue – a symbol of Da Nang's rising aspiration.
- Quan The Am Pagoda – located at the foot of Kim Son mountain, one of the five Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son), alongside the Stone Sculpture Village. Shop for Central Vietnam specialty gifts.
Noon: Lunch at a restaurant in Da Nang.
Afternoon: Depart for Hoi An Ancient Town for a walking tour and shopping at: the Japanese Covered Bridge, centuries-old ancient houses, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, and handicraft workshops.
Stroll around the ancient town at night, where glowing lanterns make the atmosphere even more romantic.
Evening: Dinner at a restaurant. Free time to explore Da Nang city by night. Overnight stay in Da Nang City.Morning: Breakfast. Check out. Depart for Sun World Ba Na Hills – Asia's Leading Theme Park 2024, awarded by WTA 2024 (Ba Na optional costs apply according to Sun Group's pricing). You will have the opportunity to visit and experience unique, one-of-a-kind attractions such as: the French Village, the masterpiece Golden Bridge – a new world wonder voted by The Daily Mail in 2021, the Sun God Waterfall, and Fantasy Park. Visit Linh Ung Pagoda with a 27-meter-tall sitting Shakyamuni Buddha statue, the Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Goddess Temple, Debay Wine Cellar, and the D'Amour Flower Garden.
Noon: Optional buffet lunch at Ba Na (If guests do not register or choose not to have the Ba Na buffet, lunch expenses are self-paid upon rejoining the group).
Afternoon: After fully exploring Ba Na, depart for the Ancient Capital of Hue – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, driving through the Hai Van Pass road tunnel, and stopping at Lang Co fishing village for commemorative photos. Check into the hotel and rest.Evening: Dinner at a restaurant featuring Hue specialties (Banh beo, nam, loc, khoai, etc.). Board a Dragon Boat to enjoy Ca Hue (Hue traditional folk songs) on the Perfume River – a unique cultural feature of Hue, and admire Trang Tien Bridge spanning across the Perfume River, an iconic symbol of Hue and a historical witness to the nation's many ups and downs.
Overnight stay in Hue City.
Morning: Early breakfast. Depart from Hue for Phong Nha - Ke Bang. Visit La Vang Holy Land – designated as a Minor Basilica, a site preserving historical traces and the largest Catholic pilgrimage center in the country.
Along the journey, pass through the 17th Parallel, the Ben Hai River, and the legendary Hien Luong Bridge – a symbol of the unwavering aspiration for national reunification throughout 20 strenuous years. Pass through the Le Thuy region, home to the Quang Binh onshore wind farm, which is the largest-scale onshore wind power project in Vietnam to date.
Noon: Lunch at a restaurant in Phong Nha.
Afternoon: Take a boat ride upstream on the Son River to conquer Phong Nha Cave: exploring the Fairy and Royal Courts deep inside the mountain where an underground river flows from Laos, and admiring breathtaking stalactite formations sculpted by nature over thousands of millennia. Depart back to Hue via the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Highway.Evening: Dinner at a restaurant. Free time to explore the Ancient Capital by night with the brilliantly lit Trang Tien Bridge reflecting on the poetic Perfume River, and stroll through the night market to experience local daily life in the imperial city. Overnight stay in Hue City.
Morning: Breakfast. Check out. Depart to visit the Imperial Citadel (Hue Royal Citadel), featuring many remarkable architectural works such as: Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Dien Tho Residence, Truong Sanh Residence, Hung To Temple, The To Temple, Trieu To Temple, Thai To Temple, Hien Lam Pavilion, and the Nine Dynastic Urns. Especially, visitors can explore Kien Trung Palace, which is both majestic and imposing in royal style while carrying the breath of Western architecture, recently restored and revived after more than 5 years.
Afterward, stop by to visit the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, which preserves many valuable historical and artistic antiques.Noon: Lunch at a restaurant in Hue.
Afternoon: Continue visiting Thuy Xuan Incense Village – a traditional incense-making craft village with a history of over 700 years in Hue. Learn about the incense-making process, experience the steps firsthand, and check-in amidst the stunning multi-colored spaces.
Afternoon: Transfer guests to Hue Airport (for flights after 14:30) and Da Nang Airport (for flights after 17:00). Bid farewell and conclude the program. See you again!
