Detailed itinerary

  • DAY 1: HA NOI – MAI CHAU (MEALS: - / LUNCH / DINNER)

    06:30: Bus and tour guide pick up the group at the Hanoi Opera House and Big C Thang Long, departing for Ba Khan. On the way, there will be a rest stop where guests can have breakfast independently.
    08:30: Stop at the first attraction, BONG LAI TEMPLE - A sacred temple with breathtaking scenery along the Northwest route. Visitors come to Bong Lai to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere it offers.

    10:00: The next stop is THUNG KHE PASS (also known as Da Trang Pass), located on National Highway 6 between Tan Lac and Mai Chau. Originally a limestone mountain carved out during road construction, this pass is often covered in clouds, creating a misty, poetic landscape. Along the pass, there are rustic huts selling local specialties, food, and beverages for travelers to rest.

    10:30: Winding through the steep curves of Thung Khe and Thung Nhuoi passes, travelers will admire the rolling mountains and lush greenery on the way to Mai Chau, Hoa Binh. Mai Chau captivates visitors with its peaceful scenery and the fragrance of new sticky rice under the morning sun.
    11:30: Enjoy lunch in Mai Chau. After lunch, you can explore Mai Chau Valley by bicycle (or electric buggy, rental fees at your own expense). Visit the charming stilt houses of the Thai ethnic group to learn about their unique culture, browse brocade stalls, learn traditional Thai brocade weaving, and buy local souvenirs.
    Afterward, feel free to cycle or stroll around, shop, and take photos.

    19:00: Have dinner and savor Northwest specialties. Watch and participate in traditional Thai song and dance performances, and sample "ruou can" (stem wine) (at your own expense).
    Overnight stay in Mai Chau.

     

  • DAY 2: MAI CHAU – HA NOI (MEALS: BREAKFAST / LUNCH / -)

    Morning: Wake up to enjoy the sunrise in the village and have breakfast.
    08:30: Free time to visit, take photos, and explore the villages in Mai Chau Valley, or participate in the following activities:

    • Explore Chieu Cave – the most beautiful cave in Mai Chau, offering panoramic views of Mai Chau town from above.
    • Visit Go Lao Waterfall (10 km from Mai Chau town) – one of the largest and most stunning waterfalls in Mai Chau, where you can swim in the stream at the base of the waterfall (at your own expense).
    • Visit the local ethnic fair market and shop for characteristic agricultural products of the ethnic minorities.

    11:30: Check out of your room and enjoy lunch at a traditional stilt house.
    13:00: Board the bus back to Hanoi. On the way back, the group will stop for check-in photos at the CAO PHONG ORANGE GROVE during the famous ripe orange season of Hoa Binh, rest at Ba Vi Milk Specialties store, and purchase gifts for family and friends.
    18:00 (approximate): Arrive back in Hanoi. End of the tour. See you again!

  • In case guests are satisfied with the service of the driver and tour guide, they may tip them at their discretion. This tip is completely optional but traditionally starts from a minimum of 50,000 VND/guest/day.

TOUR BOOKING REGULATIONS:

  • Guests booking the tour must transfer a 50% deposit of the tour price.
  • The remaining amount must be paid 07 days prior to the departure date.
  • Please send the finalized guest list immediately after confirming the group.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:

  • Immediately after registration (prior to 30 days before departure): 100% deposit penalty.
  • Prior to 7 days before tour departure: 50% penalty of the total tour cost.
  • Prior to 5 days before tour departure: 75% penalty of the total tour cost.
  • Within 5 days before tour departure: 100% penalty of the total tour cost.
  • No refund, cancellation, or change applies for groups during Holidays and Tet.
