17:30: Pick up at the meeting point and board the bus to begin your journey exploring the history and beauty of Dien Bien. 05:30: After an overnight journey, the group arrives at a rest stop in Son La. Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant or roadside eatery, featuring rich flavors of the Northwest highlands such as chicken phở, beef rice noodles, or hot steamed rice rolls. You can sip a hot cup of coffee (at your own expense) and enjoy the fresh morning air in Son La, where misty forests and mountains linger. After resting and recharging, the group continues the journey, winding through scenic roads of the Northwest mountains. En route, admire the majestic mountains, lush green terraced rice fields stretching out, and Thai and H'Mong villages nestling in the light mist, creating a poetic, romantic landscape.
12:00: Arrive in Dien Bien Phu City, the site of the glorious Dien Bien Phu victory in 1954. Have lunch at a local restaurant featuring Northwest specialties such as smoked buffalo meat, grilled local pork, and sticky rice made from highland glutinous rice. After lunch, check in to your hotel and rest. This afternoon break allows you to recharge after a long travel before continuing your exploration of Dien Bien in the afternoon.
14:30: The bus takes you out of the city toward Na Nhan village, a peaceful and pristine village in the heart of Dien Bien's natural surroundings. Home to the Thai ethnic group, it is famous for its rich traditional culture, ancient stilt houses, and terraced fields stretching across mountain slopes.
