Detailed itinerary
Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the Phong Nha area. The group will begin the journey to Paradise Cave.
Upon arrival, an electric buggy will take you to the foot of the mountain under the shade of ancient trees, followed by a walk up over 500 steps to reach the cave entrance. After resting and equipping your safety gear, you will be ready to begin exploring the cave's interior.
You will walk along the 1.2 km wooden boardwalk, admiring the magical beauty of the stalactites and taking souvenir photos. This is the standard section of the tour, ideal for those seeking a gentle sightseeing experience.
After completing the first section, you will follow our experienced guide to venture deeper into Paradise Cave for a length of 4,000 meters. The first leg of this journey leads through a massive tube-shaped cavern reaching up to 80 meters in height and 120 meters in width. You will admire giant, glistening stalactites and encounter cave creatures such as bats, fish, and crickets living in the dark.
Explore the stream and kayak: At around the 4th kilometer, your guide will help you take photos at picture-perfect spots inside the cave. Afterwards, you will take on the challenge of kayaking across a small stream deep within the cavern. As you proceed further, the ceiling lowers, requiring flexibility and dexterity to duck through narrow passages.
Continuing the journey comes the part that fills many travelers with both excitement and thrill during the exploration of Hang Va.
We travel by boat, covering over 100 meters along an underground stream winding through the cave. In some places, the ceiling drops unexpectedly low, forcing everyone to lie flat on the boat to squeeze through. It is a truly unique sensation — both nerve-wracking and thrilling to realize you are truly maneuvering through an entirely different world.
Leaving the boat, the biggest challenge begins: trekking over rugged dirt slopes and single-file, slippery paths that demand high concentration. As you venture deeper, the cave opens up into a dense landscape of cylindrical stalagmites, creating a natural stone labyrinth.
After over an hour of walking inside the cave, a well-deserved reward appears — Paradise Well. Considered the most beautiful spot in the cave, light, water, and stone blend together to create a surreal atmosphere. In the middle of the stream lie rock formations with mystical shapes, reflecting in the crystal-clear water and creating an unrepeatable beauty.
Relax and enjoy lunch right next to the cool underground stream. Here, you can watch schools of fish swimming, immerse yourself in the clear water, or capture beautiful souvenir photos before heading back.
Our vehicle will take you back to your original pickup point, concluding an impressive adventure.

- Tips for the driver and tour guide:
- In case travelers are satisfied with the service of the driver and tour guide, they can tip at their own discretion. This tip is completely optional but traditionally starts at a minimum of 50,000 VND/guest/day.
- Standard tip for foreign guests: 3 USD/guest/day.

- Before 7 days (prior to tour departure): 50% penalty of the total tour cost.
- Before 5 days (prior to tour departure): 75% penalty of the total tour cost.
- Within 5 days (prior to tour departure): 100% penalty of the total tour cost.
