Detailed itinerary
06:00: Sovaba Travel's vehicle will pick you up at Dong Hoi Airport to depart for Laos. Travel along National Highway 12A through Cha Lo border gate (Dan Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province) into Laos.
12:00: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Khammouane with local specialties.
14:00: Transfer to the hotel for check-in and rest.
15:00: The vehicle and tour guide will take you to visit Nabo Temple, one of the famous spiritual sites in Khammouane. Afterwards, the vehicle and tour guide will take you on a city tour to discover the beauty of Khammouane Province. You will visit That Sikhottabong Stupa – one of the most sacred and ancient temples in Laos.
19:00: Have dinner at a restaurant with local cuisine, then enjoy free time to stroll around and explore the night market.
08:00: After breakfast, the group completes exit procedures across the Laos – Thailand border to reach Nakhon Phanom, a city located along the banks of the Mekong River, Thailand. Visit Wat Phra That Phanom – a famous sacred temple housing Buddhist relics.
12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Nakhon Phanom.
13:30: Continue visiting other famous attractions in Nakhon Phanom such as Wat Okat Si Bua Ban, Ho Chi Minh Museum, and take a stroll along the romantic Mekong River bank.
16:00: Return to Khammouane, Laos. Rest and have dinner at the hotel. Enjoy free time to explore the city at night.
