Detailed itinerary

• DAY 1: TRAVEL TO MU CANG CHAI (MEALS: - / LUNCH / DINNER)

  05:50 - 06:00: The bus picks you up at the meeting point. The tour guide will introduce themselves and provide details about the tour itinerary. There will be a rest stop on the way where the group can have breakfast and rest at their own expense.
  (For guests from Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Thai Binh..., the organizers will inform you of a separate pick-up time and location.)

  After that, continue the drive to Mu Cang Chai, starting the journey to capture stunning photos with the beautiful flower gardens of Mu Cang Chai.
  11:00: Arrive at Nghia Lo town for lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, the group continues by bus to Tu Le. On the way, admire the Muong Lo Field stretching along both sides of the road. Take souvenir photos at the Mu Cang Chai district monument at the foot of Khau Pha Pass.
  13:30: Continue conquering Khau Pha Pass - one of the four great mountain passes of Northern Vietnam.

  14:00: Stop at the peak of Khau Pha Pass at an altitude of about 1,200m. Khau Pha Pass in the local ethnic language means "Horn of Sky", the place where heaven and earth blend together. Standing on the peak, admire the entire Khau Pha Valley, with Lim Thai and Lim Mong villages in the distance. Here, you also have the chance to watch professional paragliders participating in the annual "Flying over the Golden Season" festival.

  15:00: Arrive at the stop to take a motorbike taxi up to visit the Mam Xoi (Sticky Rice Tray) Terraced Fields. Under the guidance of the tour guide, move from the ticket checkpoint up to the top of Mam Xoi Hill to check in at the Mam Xoi Terraces — an elaborate agricultural masterpiece and unique creation of the H'Mong people in La Pan Tan. Amidst the rolling, winding mountain slopes and the patterned contours of the terraces extending to the horizon, Mam Xoi Hill stands out as a unique highlight. A popular attraction for visitors to Mu Cang Chai (motorbike taxi fee at own expense).
  Mu Cang Chai Terraced Fields were once listed in the "Top 20 Most Colorful Destinations in the World", "Top 50 Most Beautiful Destinations in the World in 2020", and received the Special National Relic Certificate in 2021.

  18:00: Arrive at Mu Cang Chai town to check in to your hotel (or homestay depending on your initial service registration), relax, and enjoy the fresh air and scenery.
  19:00: Have dinner at a restaurant. In the evening, you are free to relax and explore Mu Cang Chai at night.
  Overnight in Mu Cang Chai.

• DAY 2: MU CANG CHAI - SAPA (MEALS: BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)

  06:30: Gather for breakfast as instructed by the tour guide. You will have free time to rent a motorbike or take a motorbike taxi to explore suggested attractions such as:
  (Note: Please consult the tour guide before setting off to choose suitable destinations due to limited time. You will not be able to visit all suggested spots.)

  • Mu Cang Chai Market, a hub for daily goods and local produce.
  • Visit a Thai ethnic village and take photos at the waterwheels system used to lift stream water for irrigation and daily life.
  • Visit the Bamboo Forest. Stepping in here, you might feel like you've walked into a scene from the movie "House of Flying Daggers".
  • Maize house or check in at the Horseshoe-shaped Terraced Fields...

  09:00: Check out of the hotel/homestay. The bus takes the group from Mu Cang Chai to Sapa.
  12:00: Stop to rest and have lunch at a local restaurant (in Lai Chau province area).
  15:00: Arrive in Sapa and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
  Afternoon activity - The tour guide will accompany you and suggest options based on your preferences: (Entrance tickets not included – optional visits)

  Option 1: "Lost in the mountains – Cloud hunting at O Quy Ho"

  • Conquer Silver Waterfall – a white silk ribbon cascading amidst the deep green forest
  • Check-in O Quy Ho Heaven Gate – where heaven and earth meet, ideal for cloud hunting & photos
  • Option 2: "Challenge your limits at Rong May Glass Bridge"
  • Experience the glass bridge suspended in mid-air, feeling the thrill of walking on a transparent glass floor
  • Ride the unique open-air elevator through the mountain and pass through a surreal light tunnel

  17:00: Transfer back to central Sapa. Check in to the hotel and rest.
  18:30: Have dinner at a restaurant. In the evening, free time to visit the Stone Church and Central Square. You can try a Red Dao herbal bath or foot massage to relax and refresh after a long day (at your own expense). Overnight in Sapa.

   

• DAY 3: CAT CAT VILLAGE / FANSIPAN - RETURN JOURNEY (MEALS: BREAKFAST / LUNCH / - )

  06:00: Wake up and enjoy the crisp, cool morning air typical of Sapa town.
  07:00: Have breakfast at the hotel, relax, and sip a warm cup of morning coffee at the restaurant.
  08:00: The tour guide picks you up for a visit to Cat Cat Village to learn about the daily life of the H'Mong ethnic people and visit Tien Sa Waterfall. Enjoy a traditional cultural performance at the old hydroelectric power station.

  Alternatively, you may choose to travel independently to the Cable Car Station to begin your journey to "Conquer Fansipan" using one of the world's most modern 3-rope cable car systems, featuring cabins accommodating up to 30 passengers.
  From the upper station, pass through the Thanh Van Dac Lo Heaven Gate to enter the realm of clouds. Bich Van Zen Monastery, located at an altitude of over 2,000m, welcomes visitors and Buddhists with its pure Vietnamese architecture amidst mist; stroll to the sound of temple bells echoing through mountain winds. Reaching an altitude of 3,000m, marvel at the 21.5m tall bronze Great Amitabha Buddha Statue. From there, the Arhat Path—home to 18 bronze Arhat statues measuring 2.5m in height, solemn amidst drifting clouds—leads you to the Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda complex with the ancient beauty of 15th-16th century Vietnamese wooden temples, where you can pay respects at the Avalokiteshvara Statue, Mountain God Shrine...
  Finally, after climbing the stone steps, reach the summit of Fansipan at 3,143m, the Roof of Indochina. From here, gazing out in all directions, everyone will feel unique emotions and cherish personal wishes. (Cable car ticket not included – optional visit)

  11:30: Return to Sapa town to check out, followed by lunch and rest.
  13:00: Board the bus for the return trip to Hanoi. There will be 2 rest stops along the expressway.
  19:00: Arrive at the Noi Bai Airport area. If requested, the bus can drop you off at the airport or back at the initial pick-up point. End of the tour program.
