Not only will you admire the majestic scenery, but you will also have the opportunity to learn about the unique cultural life of the Thai ethnic group, from traditional stilt houses to unique customs. Along the way, tourists will conquer Khau Pha Pass – one of the famous "four great passes" of the North, and then stop at Tu Le to enjoy the famous flavor of green young rice and experience the interesting traditional stream bathing custom. The trip is also an opportunity for you to enjoy rustic, locally flavorful dishes, bringing home many unforgettable memories.
Detailed itinerary
05:50-06:00: The bus picks you up at the meeting point. The tour guide will introduce themselves and provide details about the tour itinerary. There will be a rest stop along the way where you can enjoy breakfast and rest at your own expense (For guests from Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, etc., the organizers will notify specific pick-up times and locations separately).
Afterwards, continue the journey to Mu Cang Chai, beginning your quest to capture stunning photos of Mu Cang Chai's beautiful flower gardens.
11:00: Arrive at Nghia Lo town for lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, the group continues by vehicle to Tu Le. Along the way, enjoy views of the sprawling Muong Lo Field stretching along both sides of the road. Take souvenir photos at the Mu Cang Chai district monument right at the foot of Khau Pha Pass.
13:30: Continue to conquer Khau Pha Pass - one of the four great mountain passes of Northern Vietnam.14:00: Stop at the peak of Khau Pha Pass at an altitude of approximately 1,200m. In the local ethnic language, Khau Pha means "Sky Horn," the meeting place of heaven and earth. Stand at the peak to admire the entire Khau Pha Valley, with Lim Thai and Lim Mong villages in the distance. Here, you also have the chance to watch professional paragliders participating in the annual "flying over the golden season" event.
15:00: Arrive at the transfer point to take a motorbike taxi up to visit the Mam Xoi (Sticky Rice Tray) Terraced Fields. Following the guide's instructions, move from the ticket control point up to the top of Mam Xoi Hill. Check in at the Mam Xoi Terraced Fields, a magnificent agricultural marvel and a unique creation of the Mong ethnic people in La Pan Tan. Set amidst rolling, winding mountain slopes and intricate terrace contours stretching to the horizon, Mam Xoi Hill stands out as a captivating, unique highlight and a major attraction in Mu Cang Chai (motorbike taxi fee at own expense).
Mu Cang Chai terraced fields were featured in the "Top 20 Most Colorful Destinations in the World," "Top 50 Most Beautiful Destinations in the World 2020," and received the Special National Monument Certificate in 2021.18:00: Arrive in Mu Cang Chai town to check in to your hotel (or homestay, depending on your original registration), relax, and enjoy the fresh air and scenery of the destination.
19:00: Dinner at a restaurant. In the evening, feel free to relax or explore Mu Cang Chai by night at your leisure.
Overnight in Mu Cang Chai.06:30: Gather for breakfast as instructed by the tour guide. You will have free time to rent a motorbike or ride behind a motorbike taxi to explore and experience the following suggested attractions:
(Please note: Before departing, consult your tour guide to select suitable destinations, as time is limited and you will not be able to visit all suggested spots.)- Mu Cang Chai Market, a central trading point for daily items and local specialties.
- Visit a Thai ethnic village and take photos at the waterwheel system used to bring stream water up for irrigation and daily use.
- Visit the Bamboo Forest. Once here, you will feel as if you have stepped into the set of the movie "House of Flying Daggers."
- Corn houses or check in at the Horseshoe-shaped Terraced Fields...
09:00: Check out - Bid farewell to Mu Cang Chai town. The bus continues to take you to the Ba Nha Bridge area to take photos freely with the shoe-shaped terraced fields.
11:00: Stop at Tu Le – a land famous for its soft, fragrant sticky rice and charming Thai women who have captured the hearts of many. The tour guide will take you to visit and shop, especially for the soft, delicious Tu Le green young rice flakes (com) at the Tu Le Market area.
12:00: Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, board the vehicle to return to Hanoi. For guests heading to Noi Bai Airport, the vehicle will travel via Ba Khe Intersection - Lao Cai - Noi Bai - Hanoi Expressway.
18:00: Estimated arrival at Noi Bai Airport.
18:30-19:00: Arrive back at the initial pick-up point in Hanoi. End of the tour program.

- Tips for drivers and tour guides:
- In case tourists are satisfied with the service of the driver and tour guide, they can tip them at their discretion. This tip is completely optional, however, to motivate and encourage, a standard tip of 50,000 VND/guest/day is recommended
- Mandatory tip for foreign tourists: 3 USD/guest/day

- Immediately after registration (before 30 days of departure): 100% deposit penalty.
- Before 7 days (prior to tour departure): 50% penalty of the total tour cost.
- Before 5 days (prior to tour departure): 75% penalty of the total tour cost.
- Within 5 days (prior to tour departure): 100% penalty of the total tour cost.
- No refund, cancellation, or exchange is applied for groups during Holidays and New Year.
