Their footprints etched into the sand, sweat soaking their faded brown shirts, they persevered through days of hardship with a humble belief: trading a bit of the sea's saltiness for warmth and sustenance for their families.

The Dinh River divides Nhan Trach into two halves: Nam Dinh and Bac Dinh. In the past, before breakwaters were built, the sea roared every year, gnawing away at every strip of land and submerging palm trees along the riverbanks. Yet local fishermen remained attached to the sea, resilient just like the white-capped waves daily caressing the small fishing village.

It is often said that visiting Quang Binh without trying instant noodles cooked with fresh squid in Nhan Trach means you haven't truly experienced the essence of the sea. They boldly stepped out into the world, seeking new opportunities by working abroad in South Korea, Japan, and several other countries. These far-off journeys not only helped them achieve a better life but also brought transformations to their homeland, allowing Nhan Trach to thrive and stand firmer in the modern era.

Wearing a new look, Nhan Trach retains the peaceful beauty of a coastal fishing village while keeping pace with modern development. Smooth concrete roads have replaced the scorching sandy paths of the past, handsome houses have risen, and the lives of the locals grow warmer and more prosperous by the day.
