Detailed itinerary
Morning: Pick up guests at Hue City Center from 6:30 AM โ 7:00 AM. Depart Hue for Phong Nha - Ke Bang. Visit La Vang Holy Land - designated as a Minor Basilica, preserving historical traces and serving as the largest Catholic pilgrimage center in the country.
Along the journey, guests will pass by the 17th Parallel, Ben Hai River - the legendary Hien Luong Bridge, a symbol of the unquenchable desire for national reunification throughout 20 years of war. Also pass through Le Thuy district, home to the Quang Binh Wind Farm, currently the largest onshore wind power project in Vietnam.
Noon: Lunch at a restaurant in Phong Nha.
Afternoon: Take a boat ride up the Son River to conquer Phong Nha Cave: Fairy & Royal Court grottoes deep inside the mountain where an underground river flows from Laos, admiring stunning stalactites and stalagmites crafted by nature over thousands of millennia. Depart for Hue along the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Highway.Evening: Dinner at a restaurant, then free to explore the Ancient Capital at night with the resplendent Trang Tien Bridge reflecting on the poetic Perfume River, or stroll around the night market to experience imperial city life. Overnight stay in Hue City.
Morning: Breakfast. Check out. Depart to visit the Imperial City (Hue Citadel), featuring many unique architectural works such as: Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Dien Tho Residence, Truong Sanh Residence, Hung To Temple, The To Temple, Trieu To Temple, Thai To Temple, Hien Lam Pavilion, and Nine Dynastic Urns. In particular, guests will visit Kien Trung Palace, which blends royal majesty and grandeur with touches of Western architecture, newly restored after more than 5 years.
Afterward, stop to visit the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, a place preserving many precious artifacts of historical and artistic value.Noon: Lunch at a restaurant in Hue.
Afternoon: Continue to visit Thuy Xuan Incense Village โ a traditional incense-making craft village with over 700 years of history in Hue. Guests can learn about the incense-making process, experience the craft firsthand, and check in at the gorgeous multi-colored space.
Afternoon: Transfer to Hue Airport (for flights after 14:30) and Da Nang Airport (for flights after 17:00). Farewell and end of the program. See you again!
