Detailed itinerary
Morning: Pick up guests in central Hue between 06:30 and 07:00. Depart Hue for Phong Nha - Ke Bang. Visit La Vang Holy Land โ designated as a Minor Basilica, a site bearing historical footprints and the largest Catholic pilgrimage center in Vietnam.
En route, you will pass the 17th Parallel, the Ben Hai River, and the legendary Hien Luong Bridge โ an enduring symbol of the aspiration for national reunification throughout 20 years. Continue through Le Thuy district, home to the Quang Binh Wind Farm, the largest onshore wind power project in Vietnam to date.
Noon: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Phong Nha.
Afternoon: Take a boat ride up the Son River to explore Phong Nha Cave: Fairy Cave and Imperial Court Cave deep within the mountain where an underground river flows from Laos, and admire the magnificent stalactites formed by nature over thousands of millennia. Depart for Hue along the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Road.Evening: Enjoy dinner at a restaurant and spend free time exploring the Ancient Capital at night, featuring Trang Tien Bridge brilliantly illuminated over the poetic Perfume River, or stroll through the night market to experience the local life of the former imperial capital. Overnight stay in Hue City.
Morning: Breakfast. Check out of the hotel. Depart to visit the Imperial Citadel (Hue Imperial City), featuring numerous remarkable architectural structures such as: Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Dien Tho Palace, Truong Sanh Palace, Hung To Temple, The To Temple, Trieu To Temple, Thai To Temple, Hien Lam Pavilion, and the Nine Dynastic Urns. In particular, visit Kien Trung Palace, which displays both imperial grandeur and Western architectural influences, newly restored after more than 5 years of renovation.
Afterward, stop to visit the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, a sacred site preserving many valuable historical and artistic relics.Noon: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Hue.
Afternoon: Continue the tour with a visit to Thuy Xuan Incense Village โ a traditional craft village with an incense-making history of over 700 years in Hue. You can learn about the incense-making process, try your hand at crafting incense sticks, and take photos in the vibrant, colorful setting.
Late afternoon: Transfer guests to Hue Airport (for flights after 14:30) and Da Nang Airport (for flights after 17:00). Farewell to guests and end of the program. We look forward to seeing you again!
