Sail deep into the cave to discover the "First Cave", view underground rivers, sandy beaches inside the cave, and take a 300m walking tour of the dry cave passage.
Relaxation & Cuisine: Enjoy 1 night at a homestay or hotel in Phong Nha or Dong Hoi; savor a delicious lunch rich in local flavors (vegetarian options available).
Detailed itinerary
Guests travel from Da Nang or Hoi An to Phong Nha by sleeper bus. Please make your own way to the bus office as instructed to begin the journey.
After completing boarding procedures, the group departs for Phong Nha. The estimated travel time is about 7 – 8 hours.
The driver and tour guide will pick you up at the bus drop-off point, then take you to the homestay to check in, rest, and prepare for the next day's sightseeing schedule.
07:30: The driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Dong Hoi city.
08:00: Depart from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha tourism village along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Highway. Along the way, the tour guide will share stories about the historical significance, strategic importance, and cultural value of this historic route.
08:45: Pick up guests at hotels located in Phong Nha town.
09:00: Explore Paradise Cave. Begin the experience with a 1.6 km electric car ride, followed by a short walk to the narrow cave entrance. Stepping inside, you will be amazed by the vast, cool space with a ceiling height of up to 60m and a width of up to 120m.
Conquer 500 limestone steps to enter the main cave arch — an underground wonder illuminated by a modern white LED lighting system, highlighting the shimmering beauty of the magnificent stalactites and stalagmites.
The tour guide will introduce interesting information throughout the tour and help you capture memorable photos. After about 2 hours of exploration, the group returns to the parking lot to head back to Phong Nha for lunch.
11:30: Enjoy an authentic Vietnamese lunch featuring fresh local ingredients. The diverse menu suits all diners (vegetarian dishes served).
13:30: Continue the journey to visit Phong Nha Cave. Board a dragon boat for a 30-minute ride cutting through the waters of the romantic Son River. From the boat, you can leisurely admire the peaceful scenery on both banks, local village life, and listen to interesting everyday stories from the boatman.
As the boat ventures deep into the cave, nature gradually reveals its splendid beauty through unique stalactite formations. Inside, shimmering stalagmites and stalactites appear and disappear under the lights, creating a magical, fairy-tale-like world. You will learn about the cave's formation process, admire underground rivers, sandy beaches inside the cave, and fascinating rock formations.
16:30 – 16:45: Concluding the Phong Nha Cave tour, the vehicle takes you back to your hotel in Phong Nha town.
17:30 – 17:45: Return to Dong Hoi city, officially concluding the Paradise Cave – Phong Nha Cave Discovery Tour.
