Detailed itinerary
Please be present at the meeting point in District 1 to begin the 1-Day Mekong Delta Saigon – My Tho Tour
You will stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda – one of the largest and oldest pagodas in the Southwestern region.
10:00: Arriving in My Tho, you will board a motorboat (approx. 20 minutes) to the first attraction – Lan Islet. Arrive at Lan Islet
You will visit a Bee Farm, enjoying honey tea along with fruit jams. Afterward, the tour guide will take you around the village to discover the life of the local people in the Mekong Delta.
You will have the chance to Enjoy seasonal fruits while listening to Don Ca Tai Tu music, a unique cultural feature of Southwestern Vietnam tourism.

Continuing the journey, you will take a ride on a Small Sampan - 3-Plank Boat (approx. 15 minutes of rowing) along lush green canals shaded by water coconut palms, which will take you back to the motorboat.
You will continue to visit a Coconut candy workshop, as the boat glides along the canal lined with fruit orchards on both sides. You will step inside the workshop to witness the coconut candy production process firsthand.
You will board a horse cart or lambro tuk-tuk for lunch
You will enjoy lunch at a restaurant with local specialties such as deep-fried elephant ear fish wrapped in rice paper with tamarind dip, fried puffed sticky rice, fried chicken, boiled vegetables with caramelized savory pork dip, coconut-steamed shrimp, crab hotpot with jute leaves, etc. After lunch, relax and wander around to enjoy the scenery of the Mekong Delta.
