• 08:00 – Pick-up in Dong Hoi

  Vehicle and tour guide pick up guests at Dong Hoi city center. Get ready to begin a journey discovering two contrasting realms: magnificent natural beauty and heroic, poignant wartime relics.

• 09:00 – Pick-up in Phong Nha

  The vehicle continues picking up guests in the Phong Nha area. Depart for Paradise Cave – hailed as the "underground palace".

• 10:00 – Visit Paradise Cave

  Located in the core zone of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, Paradise Cave features a splendid stalactite and stalagmite system stretching over 1 km with the longest wooden pathway inside a cave in Asia. This is one of the most stunning dry caves in the world, discovered in 2005.

  The tour guide will explain the geological formation history, the cave's architecture, and the ancient stalactite layers dating back millions of years.

• 12:00 – Lunch at a local restaurant

  Relax and savor culinary specialties of the limestone karst region.

• 13:00 – Depart for Quang Tri along the Ho Chi Minh Highway

  Traveling along the road cutting through the Truong Son Range, guests will learn about the strategic significance of the Ho Chi Minh Trail – the crucial supply lifeline for the southern front during the resistance war against the US.

• 15:00 – Visit Ben Hai River – Hien Luong Bridge (DMZ)

  Hien Luong Bridge is a historical witness that marked the division between North and South Vietnam for more than 20 years. Guests will learn about:

  • The 17th Parallel – the temporary demarcation line established by the 1954 Geneva Accords
  • The "sound war" between the two banks of the river
  • Symbols of division: the bridge painted in two distinct colors, opposing flagpoles, the white demarcation line, etc.
  • The historical relic site today serves as an educational center of tradition, preserved in its original form for visitors.

• 16:00 – Visit Quang Tri Ancient Citadel

  A famous historic site marked by the fierce 81-day-and-night battle in 1972 – one of the most brutal engagements in the Vietnam War.

  Originally a military fortress built during the Nguyen Dynasty, it is now a memorial sanctuary honoring thousands of fallen soldiers. Guests will hear narratives about the battlefield, heavy artillery bombardments, and the resolute fighting spirit displayed to safeguard the revolutionary flag.

• 17:00 – Visit La Vang Holy Land

  The largest Catholic pilgrimage center in Vietnam, celebrated for both its religious history and architectural grandeur. This is a spiritual and cultural connection point within what was once a war-torn frontline.
