In the morning, the driver and tour guide from Sovaba Travel will pick you up at hotels in Dong Hoi City, hotels in the Phong Nha area, Dong Hoi Railway Station, Dong Hoi Airport, or Dong Hoi Bus Station. Depart for Phong Nha National Park.
Board a boat to cruise upstream along the poetic Son River, taking in the picturesque natural scenery on both riverbanks with images of local maidens and children playing. Tien Son Cave is one of the beautiful and mystical caves in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Quang Binh Province, Vietnam. Unlike Phong Nha Cave, it is not connected to an underground river system, but is a dry cave featuring breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites.
Discovered in 1935, Tien Son Cave opened to visitors in 1998. The cave spans approximately 980 meters in length, with a 400-meter section open to tourists. Stepping inside, visitors can admire intriguing, colorful stalactites and stalagmites that reflect the lighting, creating a shimmering, fairy-tale ambiance.
A unique feature of Tien Son Cave is the echoing sound of dripping water droplets and the profound stillness when lights are turned off, giving visitors the feeling of stepping into another world. Tien Son Cave is usually visited after Phong Nha Cave, as both are located close to each other and can be easily combined into one itinerary.
To prepare well for the trip, wear comfortable walking shoes, suitable clothing, and bring a camera to capture beautiful moments inside the cave. As a dry cave, visitors do not need to worry about boating or getting wet like during the Phong Nha Cave tour.
