Detailed itinerary
The vehicle and tour guide will pick up guests at meeting points such as the train station, bus station, airport, hotel, etc., and then depart for Phong Nha.
The group will learn about the Phong Nha Cave Complex and the Survival Valley area, a 2,000-hectare region. Here, detailed information about the trekking route will be introduced, along with safety regulations and a brief overview of the entire journey. In addition, the group will prepare logistics and do warm-up exercises before starting the trek.
- The group will trek through dense jungle and diverse terrains including flat paths, uphill climbs, and sharp cat-ear limestone ridges over a distance of about 4.5km.
- Throughout the journey, everyone will immerse themselves in majestic nature, admiring rolling mountain ranges and the signature lush green bamboo forest of Tre Valley.
The group will have a light snack, put on the necessary exploration gear, and prepare to explore a 1km section from the back entrance of Dark Cave.
Visitors will have about 1 hour to explore an extremely rare moss-covered stalactite system, found in only a few caves. In addition, the signature stalactites and stalagmites, along with the beauty of Ngoc Dong (Pearl Cave), will offer unique experiences. After completing a trekking distance of about 6.5 km, this is a great opportunity to capture the best photos of the trip.
Continuing the jungle trek, the group will reach the Hang E area, famous for its stunning turquoise blue water – one of the most impressive destinations in Phong Nha.
The group will enjoy a lunch prepared on-site amidst the wild and quiet natural scenery, creating an intimate and exciting dining experience during the journey.
Visitors will participate in SUP paddling over a distance of 1.2km to 1.5km, depending on weather conditions. Along the way, you will admire unique and distinctive stalactite formations. Guests will have about 1 hour to enjoy this experience and capture the best photos to commemorate the trip.
- Visitors can participate in water activities such as swimming, snorkeling to see fish, playing water volleyball, relaxing on lazy floats, and taking photos with fun Yellow/Black Ducks or water guns.
- Additionally, at the campsite area, there are fun sports activities such as relaxing in hammocks, volleyball, and darts, offering various entertaining and relaxing experiences.
After completing the activities, the group will continue with a 2.5km trek to exit the area, wrapping up an exciting exploration amidst nature.
After completing the journey, the group will enjoy a celebratory drink. The vehicle will transfer the group back to Dong Hoi, and the tour guide will say goodbye and look forward to seeing you on future trips.

- Tips for driver and tour guide:
- If you are satisfied with the service of the driver and tour guide, you may tipping them at your discretion. This tipping is entirely voluntary, but the common practice is a minimum of 50,000 VND/guest/day.
- Mandatory tip for foreign tourists: 3 USD/guest/day.
