Vinh Moc Tunnels were constructed from 1965 to 1967, a unique military and civilian engineering work with a tunnel system having a main axis length of over 2,000 m, consisting of 3 levels ranging from 8m to 23m deep. During the war, the tunnels served not only as a shelter but also as a living, community, and combat space for the people of Vinh Linh. It welcomed 17 babies born underground, becoming a symbol of resilient life amidst bombs and bullets.
