Da Nang Fine Arts Museum was officially established on July 29, 2014, under the Decision of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, managed under the Da Nang Museum. From a small display space, the museum has grown strongly through collection, research, and international cooperation programs.

The development process is highlighted by expanding the collection from a few hundred to over 1,000 artifacts, including works by famous artists such as Vu Trong Thuan as well as folk artisans. By 2025, the museum successfully organized the "Young Art - Da Nang 2025" exhibition on August 26, attracting a large number of youth and artists.
