Phong Nha Cave is located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, Son Trach Commune, Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province. It is one of the most famous caves in Vietnam and has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site. With a total length of up to 7,729 meters, including 14 caves and an underground river measuring 13,969 meters, this place is likened to a mystical world hidden deep underground. Scientists have surveyed over 44.5 km of cave passages, but visitors are only allowed to explore the first 1,500 meters – enough to admire the magnificent beauty of the cave.
Phong Nha Cave is divided into two main parts: a dry cave with unique stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years, and a wet cave with the world's longest underground river system, where visitors can experience a boat ride along the Son River to discover its magnificent beauty. The shimmering stalactites, winding water streams, and magical space inside the cave make it worthy of the title "The First Wonder Cave", a masterpiece bestowed by nature upon the land of Quang Binh.
