The tour guide and bus will pick you up at the designated meeting point in central Dong Hoi City, beginning a journey back in time to the historic land of Quang Tri.
Visit the Ancient Citadel Relic Site – the location of the fierce 81-day-and-night battle during the fiery summer of 1972. Your guide will share insights into its historical significance, the courageous fighting spirit, and the sacrifice of thousands of soldiers who fought to protect every inch of the motherland.
Travel along National Route 9, a road steeped in history from the resistance war against the US, connecting the Eastern and Western Truong Son ranges – part of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Admire the Da Krong Bridge spanning the Da Krong River, closely associated with campaigns supplying weapons and provisions to the southern battlefield.
Arrive in Khe Sanh and visit Ta Con Airport – a vital US military base during the 1968 Route 9 – Khe Sanh Campaign. Numerous artifacts remain here, including aircraft, artillery shells, and combat trenches...
