Hang Mua is located in the core zone of the Trang An Landscape Complex (a UNESCO World Heritage site), in Khe Dau Ha village, Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. The tourist area lies at the foot of Mua Mountain (also known as Ngoa Long Mountain), which is shaped like an upside-down bell, covering an area of about 800m².
- Distance from Ninh Binh City center: About 7-10 km (approx. 15-20 minutes by motorbike).
- Distance from Hanoi: About 100 km (approx. 2-2.5 hours by car).
- Distance from Trang An: Only about 4 km, very convenient to combine in a single day.
Directions:
- From Hanoi: Take National Route 1A - turn onto Road 491C or follow the signs to Trang An - turn left for about 4 km.
- Popular modes of transport: Rent a motorbike (100,000 - 150,000 VND/day), taxi/Grab, or private car. Motorbikes are the most flexible option to further explore Tam Coc and Trang An.
